Local bands Detention and Gashouse Annie will be performing from 6-9:30 pm as part of the Trust’s TGIS free weekly concert series. Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival Paints the Town, a program designed to bring awareness of area artisans and the festival, will have local artists painting live at the Courthouse Square across from The Palace Theatre from 12-3 pm and at TGIS that evening beginning at 6 pm.

Westmoreland Cultural Trust announced its new initiative for local artists this past January called WCT’s Incubator for the ARTS. The program provides a place for creative collaboration for local professional and student artists with subsidized rent that includes short-term lease options, utilities, Wi-Fi and 24-hour building access in the heart of the downtown cultural district. Currently, the incubator is home to eight local artists on Main Street, Greensburg. For more information about ‘ALL DAY ART’, TGIS and WCT’s Incubator for the ARTS!
