The Greensburg Garden & Civic Center is a full-service facility that can accommodate a variety of needs within your budget. We host conferences, business meetings, piano and dance recitals, cocktail parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, lectures, brunch/lunch and formal dining from small groups to large in our two banquet rooms, the Laurel Room and the Iris Room. In addition, the Center has an auditorium which seats 320.

We can make arrangements for your beverage and catering services or you may contact a caterer of your choice. Additional amenities and many other business meeting accessories are available.  Consider using our facility when planning your next event.

Multi-Purpose Facility

Greensburg Garden & Civic Center is a multi-use facility that hosts a wide variety of events including cocktail parties, conferences, fundraising galas, fashion shows, reunions, weddings, showers, birthday parties, meetings, theatrical productions and concerts.

Exhibits featuring the work of area photographers and artists often grace the first floor of the building.

Groups from 2 to 200 can utilize our multi-purpose rooms, and 320 people may comfortably attend events in the Auditorium.

Arrangements for food service, meeting room setups, and receptions can be made to accommodate your needs in a room that will fit both the size of your group and your budget.
The beautiful lawn of the Greensburg Garden & Civic Center may be rented in conjunction with the Laurel and Iris Rooms to accommodate larger events or those with an outdoor theme.

Laurel Room & Iris Room

The Laurel Room and the Iris Room, a combined 48’ x 57’, are located on the first floor of the Greensburg Garden & Civic Center with direct access to the lanai and lawn areas. The wood flooring and built-in counters along the rooms’ perimeter offer a comfortable atmosphere.

These rooms can be partitioned and rented separately. Each room can hold up to 80 seated guests or 100 at a cocktail party.

The 12’ high windows along the Laurel Room’s west side overlook the lawn and provide natural light with light-filtering shades.

A separate adjacent catering kitchen is available for an additional charge.

 

 

 

Auditorium

The first-floor auditorium is ideally suited for lectures, classes and theatre or concert performances on its intimate proscenium stage. Its 320 seats are arranged on a slight slope to provide optimum sight lines.

Technical capabilities include a lighting control console, sound mixing board, front of house lighting, fresnels on stage, and three overhead rows of 3-circuit strip lights in red, blue and white. Private dressing rooms and restrooms are located off each side of the stage, plus a make-up room off stage right.

An electrically powered screen is hung mid-center stage for PowerPoint presentations, DVDs, or other applications.

The center section seats feature attached side-mounted flip-up tablet arms that can easily slide into position for note taking during meetings, lectures or classes.

Wheelchair accessible seating is available toward both the front and rear of the auditorium.
