Tour local art galleries and WCT’s Incubator for the ARTS working artists’ studios and see The Westmoreland Museum of American Art’s “Opposites Attract” exhibition. Cross off items on your holiday gift list by shopping at the many local retailers in downtown Greensburg, and when you work up an appetite, take a pit stop at one of the many eateries to refuel.  

Artwork by regional artists will be featured at each of the retail and dining locations.

First Evangelical Lutheran Church has grown from a very humble beginning in 1784 with a small group of people worshipping in the log school near the public spring in old St. Clair Cemetery (now St. Clair Park) to the present congregation worshipping in a cross topped, large brick building at the corner of Main and 3rd streets of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.  The church will feature artists in their narthex and sanctuary.  The First Evangelical Lutheran Church

PAINTING
The Rev. Daisher Rocket will be providing guided tours throughout the city of Greensburg, focusing on cool art stuffy stuff in the surrounding area for your viewing enjoyment (*information may or may not be factual).  Tour times:  11am, 1:30pm, 4pm – Meeting location will be outside of The Westmoreland Museum of American Art (221 N Main St). He will also be holding an open studio at WCT’s Incubator for the Arts from 2:30pm-3:30pm.

Nick Silvis

SCULPUTURES AND INSTALLATION
Nick Silvis, native to Greensburg, is a Junior at Seton Hill University, studying Fine Arts.  Nick is a member of the Greensburg Art Center and his discipline is sculpture and installation art.  Nick will have a large sculpture / installation, representing his response to senseless violence in the world at The First Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Tuesday’s Together is a Society of Creative Entrepreneurs gathering with the common goal of building a community that edifies other creatives. They meet the second Tuesday of every month in the spirit of Community over Competition.  You can shop their silent auction gallery of landscape photography, graphic tees, and more at Mike’s Framing & Art. Proceeds will be donated to the Blackburn Center, Westmoreland Red Cross, and Westmoreland Cultural Trust.
