WCT Capital Campaign

Westmoreland Cultural Trust is a major force in the cultural and economic environment of the region.  The Trust recently embarked on a capital campaign that will ensure the sustainability and financial health of the organization through audience development, Palace Theatre facility support and upgrade, and ticketing outreach for both The Palace Theatre and its performing arts peers.

Having invested over $18.8 million in community restoration since its inception, Westmoreland Cultural Trust has been an engine of change, bringing renewed life to some of the most venerable and historically significant buildings in Greensburg, the most paramount being The Palace Theatre.

Renovation projects completed in the last two years include roof and parapet wall repairs, interior plaster repairs and painting, electrical repairs (conduit, wiring, lighting), dome patch, new stage flooring, plumbing repairs and a new awning.  However, there is more work to do at The Palace.

We invite you to assist with this campaign to help ensure the preservation of The Palace Theatre and continued recognition as the center of artistic activity and the largest cultural destination in Westmoreland County.
