WCT’S Signature Fundraising Event – Party at The Palace

Party at The Palace
Saturday, February 25, 2017

5 Parties, 1 Night to support the historic Palace Theatre!

Westmoreland Cultural Trust is raising a glass for its signature fundraising event, Party at The Palace, which will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at The Palace Theatre (21 West Otterman Street, Greensburg PA).

Guests are invited to PARTY with a PURPOSE!  Funds raised during the evening benefit the programs of Westmoreland Cultural Trust and the sustainability of The Palace Theatre.

During this black-tie optional evening, guests are encouraged to “wear their party” as they mingle throughout the theatre.  Rooms will be decorated with a unique, theme creating five different party areas.

The evening will begin with a 6 PM VIP Pre-party on the time-honored Palace Theatre stage and feature passed hors d’oeuvres compliments of Juniper Grill, Murrysville, live music from EBT Jazz, complimentary champagne and a professional photograph to capture guests as they arrive.  Photos will then be displayed in The Palace Theatre’s outer lobby for the remainder of the year.  A new addition to the VIP Pre-party will be Brilliance in the Bubbles by Beeghly, a raffle for VIPs only. For $25, VIPs can purchase a chance to win a one-carat diamond (valued at $4,000) compliments of Beeghly & Company Jewelers.

At 7 PM, the festivities move into the outer rooms of the theatre where the event continues.  Impressive hors d’oeuvres and desserts prepared by local restaurateurs will await the guests throughout The Palace.  Stage Right’s Sensations returns once again for a stand-out performance on The Palace’s grand staircase.

The S&T Bank Courtyard will be tented and transformed into a Whiskey and Cigar Lounge, a perfect place for guests to relax, unwind and enjoy a president’s choice cigar paired with a distilled beverage.

Ale is the drink of choice in the Pints & Pies Pub in the Upper Megan’s Suite.  Local breweries will be supplying their popular brews while pizza pies from around the county will be featured.  Josh Starrett Music will continue the laidback vibe as he entertains during the evening.

Guests will be transported back to the birthplace of the Renaissance with an array of vino and formaggio in the Tuscan Wine & Cheese Lounge located in the Mezzanine.

Megan’s Suite will be revamped into a New York Cocktails & Cabaret lounge.  Performances by Anthony Marino, Renata Marino, John Noble & Courtney Harkins will complete the nightclub ambience.
In addition to the party, a sweepstakes is being conducted to support the fundraising efforts of Westmoreland Cultural Trust.  The winner will receive a cash prize of $4,000.  A $10 donation is required to enter with the winning number being drawn from the 7pm Pick 3 PA lottery on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017.  Only 1,000 tickets will be sold.  Ticket printing is compliments of Fotorecord Print Center.
