This year’s “One Party – Four Seasons” event is scheduled for Saturday, February 24

Greensburg, PA (January 31, 2018) – Westmoreland Cultural Trust’s signature fundraising event of the year, Party at The Palace, arrives at The Palace Theatre, Saturday, February 24.  The theatre will be transformed into four different seasonal party areas to correspond with this year’s theme of One Party – Four Seasons. The evening begins with a VIP Party at 6 PM, followed by the main event at 7 PM.  All proceeds will benefit programs of Westmoreland Cultural Trust and The Palace Theatre.

The tradition of the VIP Party on stage continues when the auditorium blossoms into spring for a pre-party showered with passed hors d’oeuvres from Juniper Grill Murrysville, champagne, live music from EBT Jazz and a commemorative photograph captured by Savvy Shots Photography.  The photos will be displayed at The Palace Theatre in the Peoples Gas Outer Lobby for the remainder of the year.

At 7 PM, the party moves into the Megan’s Suite, Mezzanine and Upper Megan’s Suite with hors d’oeuvres and desserts from local restauranteurs.  Last year’s popular Cigar & Whiskey Lounge returns to the tented S&T Bank Courtyard.

Live entertainment will fill the theatre throughout the evening beginning with a performance by Stage Right! featuring The Sensations on the Grand Staircase. Westmoreland Cultural Trust is thrilled to welcome talent from local theatre organizations in the winter wonderland of Megan’s Suite. Mallory and Jake Grantz of Apple Hill Playhouse, Mandy Onder & Vicky Post of The Geyer Performing Arts Center, Jeremy Kuharcik and Barb Rolla of Greensburg Civic Theatre, Shelly Spataro & Bill Fisher of New Kensington Civic Center, Mandie Russak & Brady D. Patsy of Split Stage Productions and Alyssa Bruno-Walls & Ashley Harman of The Theatre Factory will showcase their talents and represent their respective theatre companies during the evening.  Additionally, Jeff Starrett will perform in the Midsummer Night’s Dream-themed Upper Megan’s Suite, and Diane & Sam Paul (of The Bricks) will play under the vibrant hues of autumn in the Mezzanine.  The evening will conclude with DJ Keith Harrold as guests are invited to the Megan’s Suite dance floor.

“To be able to offer our guests a glimpse into the enormous array of talent we have in the community, as well as cultural opportunities in the area, is an honor and coincides with our dedication to promoting the performing arts in Westmoreland County,” commented Kelli Brisbane, assistant to the president and special events coordinator.

In addition to the party, a sweepstakes is being conducted to support the fundraising efforts of Westmoreland Cultural Trust.  The winner will receive a cash prize of $4,000.  A $10 donation is required to enter with the winning number being drawn from the 7pm Pick 3 PA lottery on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018.  Only 1,000 tickets will be sold.  Sweepstakes tickets are available in person at The Palace Theatre Box Office or by calling 724-836-1123 x255.  Ticket printing is compliments of Fotorecord Print Center.
