Gary Mule Deer’s unique combination of comedy and country music have set him apart as one-of-a-kind.  He has performed on nearly every major concert stage in the country and made over 350 television appearances, including many on both The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and The Late Show with David Letterman. He was even one of six comedians to star, along with Jay Leno, on the very first HBO comedy special. Gary is currently featured on the DVDs Jeff Foxworthy’s Comedy Classics and The World’s Greatest Stand-up Comedy Collection, and he is one of the most played comedians on Sirius XM’s Laugh USA. He is currently the subject of an upcoming documentary by VIA Productions Memphis and is featured in an upcoming five-part Showtime series on the History of The Comedy Store.

In addition to his well-known comedy, Gary Mule Deer has always performed classic country, rockabilly, and the music of Johnny Cash. Mule Deer is a regular and popular performer on The Grand Ole Opry, with over two dozen appearances in 2019 alone.  In a nearly 60-year career, he has shared the concert stage with over 100 country, rock, and pop music icons, and for 25 years, he has also been touring as a special guest with the legendary Johnny Mathis and his orchestra. The great popularity of Gary Mule Deer’s comedy and music cuts across all ages and demographics.

Immediately following the charity benefit at The Palace Theatre for Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare, Gary Mule Deer will join Marty Stuart and the Steve Miller Band in Texas on Monday, June 15. He will be touring with them until September 5.
