Gary Pratt – TGIS Free Concert Series

At a very early age, Gary Pratt expressed his talent and his love for music.  Country music has always been a part of his life.  In addition to performing locally, he had the pleasure of showcasing his music in all the hottest venues in Nashville.  He has appeared before crowds of thousands and has been the opening act for the Rocky Gap Music Festival in Maryland, showcased his talent as part of Nashville’s Fanfest, entertained at the Tennessee State Fair, and has been the opening act for national artists such as Chris Cagle, Mark Chestnut, Crystal Gayle, Phil Stacey, Ronnie Milsap and Pam Tillis, as well as Lorrie Morgan here at The Palace Theatre.  He has also performed in many local bands including: CC & Company, Blu River and Moonshine Steel.

Currently, Gary is performing with duet partner Dawn Noelle.  Both Dawn and Gary attended Greensburg-Salem and were raised in the small town of Slickville.  They sang together in their high-school days and now have reunited their music careers. Dawn has performed everything from hard rock to country and has been in many local bands including:  Tammany Hall, Night Wing, Main Street, Trilogy, Rareform and Moonshine Steel.

You can purchase one of Gary’s first CDs at today’s event.  The CD, Don’t Walk There In My Shadow, consists of 7 original songs.  The CD release party and concert was a sold-out event sponsored by Westmoreland Cultural Trust.  Dawn and Gary are now in the process of planning, writing and recording two new projects.  One project is a Christmas CD.  Please watch for more information.  For all music information and schedule please see www.garyprattmusic.com or join Gary on Facebook.

Gary is also a local business owner.  He owns and operates one of the best floral shops in Greensburg, Le Jardin Florals and Home Accents.  Stop by sometime to see him at 212 West 3rd St. Greensburg, PA.
