Violinist Alexi Kenney has been named “a talent to watch” by the New York Times and he recently served as Guest Concertmaster for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He opens the WSO’s 51st season with Prokofiev’s extraordinary Violin Concerto No. 2.  The program also features Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin: Polonaise, an and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 conducted by Daniel Meyer.
