2018 Party at The Palace Recap

This year’s Party at the Palace featured One Party, Four Seasons! VIP guests began the celebration, blossoming into Spring on stage.  Guests escaped to A Midsummer’s Night Dream in the Upper Megan’s Suite, and enjoyed Fall brews and Autumn Hues in the Mezzanine.  A Winter Wonderland filled with ice and elegance in the Megan’s Suite, led to the ever-so-popular whiskey and cigar lounge.

The night showcased an array of live local entertainment with EBT Jazz, The Bricks, Josh Starrett Music, and the Stage Right! Sensations. In Megan’s Suite, local theatre organizations wowed our guests singing musical favorites throughout the evening.  Representatives from Geyer Performing Arts Center, Apple Hill Playhouse, Greensburg Civic Center, New Kensington Civic Theatre, The Theatre Factory, and Split Stage Productions shared the musical talents with our guests. Local artists greeted each guest as they arrived to the party with their live paintings.  Artists included Pamela Cooper, Ray Kuchinka, Patrick Mahoney, and Moira Richardson.

Food and desserts were over the top this year thanks to: Anatolia; Bean and Baguette; Bella Terra Vineyards; Caffe Barista; Chef Dato’s Table; DeNunzio’s Restaurant; Elegant Catering; Four Seasons Brewing Company; Greensburg Country Club; JCorks; Juniper Grill Murrysville; Le Jardin Florals and Chocolates; Lora V’s Catering; Rizzo’s Malabar Inn; Brie Rock, Certified Pastry Chef and Denyell Maul, Cake Artist; Sam’s Club; Spitfire Grill; Stateside Vodka; and Westmoreland Country Club.

Congratulations to our lucky $4,000 sweepstakes winner, Pam DeMezza, who graciously donated $250 of her winnings back to the Trust for our Art in the Alley project. Thank you Pam for your giving back!

Sincere thanks and appreciation to our chairwoman Peg Colosimo and the incredible committee of volunteers on our event planning committee.  They dedicate their time, creativity, and talents to sustain our theatre year after year.
