GREENSBURG, PA (November 30, 2018) — Westmoreland Cultural Trust announces the resignation of its President and CEO, Michael J Langer, effective November 30, 2018. “Over the last couple of months, Mike and I have been discussing his future and, after 16 years at the helm of the Trust, he has indicated that he is ready to pursue a new adventure,” said T. Terrance Reese, Chairman of Westmoreland Cultural Trust. “The last fifteen years have been a period of exhilarating growth for Westmoreland Cultural Trust. We are in the strongest financial position in our history and are hosting more patrons and performers than at any time. We have a strong and experienced staff that is more than capable of continuing our momentum while we search for our next leader. We thank Mike for his efforts over the past 16 years and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
We expect to announce the name of an interim President and CEO shortly who will lead the organization during our search for a new President and CEO.
