It’s Time to Raise the Curtain!

Westmoreland Cultural Trust is ecstatic to welcome guests back to The Palace Theatre and Greensburg Garden & Civic Center to experience live arts performances.

We will continue to adhere to and adjust our operating protocols as public health guidelines evolve. Ticket purchasers will be notified by email if any precautions necessitate a change in seating or if a show is rescheduled. We recommend checking these guidelines closer to your event date for the latest information.

Although we have taken enhanced health and safety measures, attending a large, indoor event will increase the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases. WCT cannot guarantee that authorized event attendees will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending a gathering at a WCT facility could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19. By visiting one of our facilities, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

The health of our guests, volunteers, workers, and artists remains a top priority. Westmoreland Cultural Trust has implemented enhanced procedures to help keep everyone safe, but our guests also play an important role. By following the guidelines listed below, you can help protect everyone visiting or working at our facilities.

If you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, or suspect you might have COVID-19, please do not attend an event. Contact the Box Office at 724-836-8000 or boxoffice@wctrust.net no later than 5 PM one business day prior to your scheduled show for ticketing information.

Any guests displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or who do not abide by the below guidelines are subject to removal from the facilities without refund.

Face Coverings

Face masks covering the nose and mouth are recommended for all guests due to the duration of the show and the close proximity to others, both during the performance and while in the lobby and in public spaces.

Please note that this policy may change per show depending on the artist/promoter. Please check your emails and/or the show event page on our website for any updates concerning shows for which you have tickets.

Social Distancing

We encourage all guests to keep a safe distance between your party and others and follow guidelines posted at the venue.

Hand Washing

Guests should wash their hands often and avoid touching their faces.

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfecting Procedures

We’ve increased our cleaning in high-traffic/touchpoint areas and implemented deep sanitizing protocols prior to a performance/event. LEARN MORE

Hand Sanitizer

Guests are encouraged to frequently utilize the touch-free hand sanitizer stations positioned throughout the theatre in the Main Lobby, Megan’s Suite, and Upper Megan’s Suite.

Staff and Volunteer Compliance and Training

Staff and volunteers must follow all guest guidelines and will be trained on safety and cleanliness procedures.

PRE-VISIT AND ARRIVAL

By entering one of Westmoreland Cultural Trust’s facilities, you acknowledge that you understand and will abide by the above health and safety requirements.

If you have any questions during or prior to your visit, please reach out to a staff member to assist you. We are here to serve you!

ENHANCED CLEANING AND DISINFECTING PROCEDURES

In addition to routine cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting procedures in common areas throughout the day, Westmoreland Cultural Trust has implemented a number of additional steps and systems to help keep our patrons, volunteers, and staff healthy.

  • An electrostatic disinfectant sprayer is used to quickly and efficiently sanitize and decontaminate theatre seats and large areas. The Victory VP200ESK Professional Sprayer system utilizes electrostatic technology to evenly coat and provide complete disinfection directly to surfaces and hard-to-reach areas. The touchless application also reduces the risk of cross-contamination.
  • The Palace Theatre’s HVAC system has been upgraded to include Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UV-C) providing ongoing 24/7/365 protection. The UV-C decontamination lamp system (RLM Xtreme) delivers high-output ultraviolet energy to irradiate coils and destroy mold, bacteria, and viruses.
  • We are ensuring our ventilation systems are operating to full design capabilities in accordance with CDC filtration guidelines. The Palace Theatre’s HVAC system has an air circulation rate of 96,000 cubic feet per minute, with a minimum of 15% outside air intake.

Assumption of Risk Relating to COVID-19

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people.

WESTMORELAND CULTURAL TRUST (WCT) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, WCT cannot guarantee that authorized event attendees will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending a gathering at a WCT facility could increase your risk and the risk of your rental participants of contracting COVID-19.

By attending an event at any Westmoreland Cultural Trust facility, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 while attending WCT programs or events, and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at WCT may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, WCT employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families.

You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death) to myself and assume all risks of illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you may experience or incur in connection with your use of WCT facilities. You hereby release, covenant not to sue, to discharge, and to hold harmless the WCT, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. You understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the WCT, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after my attendance at WCT programs or events.
