Volunteer Celebration
is our way of thanking our current volunteers who have become such a valuable resource to the Trust. Their creativity, energy and continued commitment have made our fundraisers and events fun and successful. We hope to add to their success by recruiting more community-minded individuals eager to dedicate their time and talents to raise awareness of the many wonderful contributions made by the Trust. Achievement in the Arts
Held at the end of the school year, Westmoreland Cultural Trust hosts this annual event to honor the artistic merit of 18 Westmoreland County high schools at The Palace Theatre. Schools are invited to nominate students who have demonstrated excellence and artistic merit in the areas of music, theatre and visual art. Students, faculty, administration, family and friends celebrate together at this annual celebration. Photos of Past Awards Banquets!
WCT’s Incubator for the ARTS
is Westmoreland Cultural Trust’s newest initiative which supports local and student artists. The program provides short-term 3-6 month artist leases to include utilities, wifi and 24-hour building access between $100-$325/month. Artist studios are located inside the Union Trust building, which is in the heart of downtown Greensburg’s growing cultural district on Main Street. Learn more
